Take a tour “Down Under” and visit Australia and New Zealand in this 14 days tour. From the iconic Sydney Opera House and 2000 Summer Olympics Park to the Waitomo Glowworm Cave and Maori Village, take in the bustling modern city and the scenic views!


Day 1 | USA-Enroute-Sydney

Our vacation begins as we board the international flight bound to Sydney, the larget city in Australia and Oceania.

Day 2 | Enroute

Cross the International Date Line, overnight on board.


Day 3 | Arrive-Sydney

Our jetliner touches down in Sydney. Sightseeing tour starts immediately and features visits to the Hyde Park, Mrs. MacQuarie’s Chair, Art Gallery, St. Mary’s Cathedral,and inside visit to the iconic Sydney Opera House. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time at the Rock’s and Darling Harbour. Dinner is served on the twilight harbour cruise.
 

Day 4 | Sydney

Morning excursion to the world famous Blue Mountains by bus. Enjoy amazing views of Echo Point and Three Sisters Rock. Later, take a scenic ride of Katoomba Railway down the mountains. Head to Australia Wildlife Park with a photo stop at 2000 Summer Olympics Park.


Day 5 | Sydney

Enjoy the entire day free at leisure! You may join the optional excursion to Canberra, the capital city of Australia, or spend the day shopping or further exploring Sydney by taking an optional tour.
 

Day 6 | Sydney-Melbourne-Phillip Island

Fly to Melbourne, the capital city and the second largest city in Australia. Our city tour of Melbourne shows us the historic Fitzory Gardens, Cook’s Cottage, and the significant Royal Botanic Gardens. Later in the afternoon, we drive by the Gurdie Winery and the beautiful rainforest, arrive at Phillip Island for the spectacular Penguin Parade and the Nobbies Center. Enjoy lobster dinner while watching the penguin parade.
 

Day 7 | Melbourne

Morning tour to Melbourne’s central business district by the City Circle Tram. Pass major tourist attractions and places of interesting including Victoria Market, Art Gallery, and Federation Square. After lunch at Chinatown, the afternoon is all free for you to explore the city at your own tempo.


Day 8 | Melbourne-Queenstown

Board a flight for Queenstown and breakfast on board. Located in NZ South Island, Queenstown is treasured for its magnificent scenery, adventure opportunities and luxury lifestyle. If you’ve seen the Lord of the Rings trilogy, you’re already familiar with some of Queenstown’s most picturesque places. We transfer to hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free at leisure.


Day 9 | Queenstown-Milford Sound,-Te Anau Lake-Queenstown

Today is the highlight of our journey in NZ. Travel to Milford Sound for a scenic cruise to view the magnificant fjordland. Judged the world’s top travel destination, Milford Sound is also acclaimed as NZ’s most famous tourist destination. Our drive passes through unspoiled mountain landscapes and Homer Tunnel. Spectacular waterfalls, lush rainforest, and deep cliffs do make Milford Sound unforgettable, while seals, penguins, and dolphins frequent the waters and whales can be seen sometimes. Enjoy international buffet lunch on board. Return to Queenstown via Te Anau, the largest lake in NZ South Island, for a brief sightseeing along the lake side.
 

Day 10 | Queenstown-Arrowtown-Queenstown

Spend the whole morning in the beautiful Queenstown for leisure. You may take a walk in downtown, or challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone by taking optional activities such as jetboat, bungy jump, sky diving. In the afternoon, drive to Arrowtown, a historical gold mining town situated on the banks of the gold-bearing Arrow River, for a sightseeing. A delicious BBQ dinner is served for the evening.


Day 11 | Queenstown-Auckland-Waitomo-Rotorua

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand North Island, known as the “City of Sails.” Upon arrival, immediate drive south along the Waitomo River, visit the Waitomo Glowworm Cave, and then continue to Rotorua, a place inhabited by the indigenous Maori People. Spend some time free at leisure by the beautiful Rotorua Lake before dinner. Enjoy a special deer dinner in Rotorua.
 

Day 12 | Rotorua

Take a brief city tour in Rotorua in the morning. After a sheep show at Agrodome, go down to Lake Taupo, the largest lake in New Zealand, where we will have a chance to view the mighty Huka Falls. Come back to Rotorua in the afternoon. Drive along the scenic route with a stop at Redwood Walking Trail. Before dawn, arrive Maori Village where we experience Maori’s unique lifestyle and traditions through its cultural artifacts, handicrafts, buddling mud pools and geysers. If time permits, take an optional hot bath at thermal spring. Tonight, Enjoy Hangi dinner banquet and Maori traditional show at Te Puia.
 

Day 13 | Rotorua-Auckland

Bid farewell to Rotorua and return to Auckland. Our city tour of Auckland starts immediately upon arrival, and shows us the Harbor Bridge, King’s Domain, Tamaki Drive. Finally, enjoy a panoramic view of the city on Mount Eden. Of course, you’ll get some free time for shopping. Complete the last night of the tour with an exciting Farewell Dinner. After the seafood buffet dinner, we then transfer to Sky Tower, the highest tower in Southern hemisphere for a fantastic night view of the city from the top of the tower.

Day 14 | Auckland-USA

All too soon our fascinating journey has reached its end. Board our flight and return to the US with fond memories.
