Day 1: Bay Area – Sacramento- Elko
Depart San Francisco Bay Area in the morning for Sacramento. Upon arrival, visit the California State Capital. Founded in 1849, Sacramento was at the heart of the gold rush, Pony Express and first continental railroad. Then drive over famous Donner Pass and enter the state of Nevada – nicknamed the Silver State. Parallel to the first transcontinental railroad, we travel east on the first Interstate Highway 80, which was built on the original route of the first transcontinental highway—-Lincoln Highway. Overnight stay in Elko, a famous gold mining town.

Day 2: Elko – Snake River Canyon - Yellowstone – West Yellowstone
Cross the Great Basin Desert, pass through fertile farmland of Idaho and arrive at Snake River Canyon overlook. Enjoy the beautiful canyon in which the Snake River meanders across high plateau and cut through the ancient basalt lava flows. Then continue to Yellowstone National Park It is one of the world’s principal wildlife preserves and a photographer’s paradise. Walk the boardwalks surrounded by hot springs and bubbling pots of mud, admire that Grand Prismatic Pool whose rainbow colors make it so iconic, watch in awe Old Faithful Geyser that shoots a column of water high in the air. Overnight is in West Yellowstone.

Day 3: Yellowstone National Park – Grand Teton - Jackson - Pocatello
Visit Yellowstone National Park, the first and oldest National Park in the world. Highlights include: Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Lower Falls, Yellowstone Lake. You might have a chance to see wildlife in the park, such as the bison, moose, and the grizzly bear. Continue to Grand Teton National Park and get ready for jaw dropping vista throughout the park. You will be amazed by the stunning beauty of Jackson Lake and snow-covered Teton Peak that rises to 13,770 feet. It is one of the most breathtaking sights in America. Then tour the town of Jackson, where beautiful arches made of elk antlers decorate the central park with plenty of shops and restaurants around the area. Overnight stay in Pocatello.

Day 4: Pocatello - Salt Lake City - Bryce Canyon - Bryce Canyon City / Panguitch
Upon arrival in Salt Lake City, tour the famous Temple Square and learn about the Mormon settlement in depth. Then head to Bryce Canyon National Park. The first sight of red stone forest will amaze you and it never stops. The formations called “hoodoos” are arranged in different shapes and tinted with various colors. Over time, erosion has carved colorful limestone into thousands of spires, fins, arches and mazes.

Day 5: Bryce Canyon City / Panguitch - Antelope Canyon - Horseshoe Bend - Las Vegas
Head to Antelope Canyon in the morning. (Optional: Lower Antelope Canyon). It is known as a slot canyon in which rainwater runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections. As the water rushes into the narrow passageways, over time the passageways are eroded away, making the corridors deeper and into what you would experience today. The sunlight filtering down from the top makes magical and beautiful patterns and shadows on the curved sandstone walls. Then hike to Horseshoe Bend, where Colorado River makes a horseshoe shaped bend at the beginning of the Grand Canyon. The view is breathtaking but watch your footing as the viewpoint is on the cliff. Arrive in Las Vegas in the evening and accommodations will be at the Excalibur Hotel, named for the mythical sword of King Arthur. Immerse yourself in the castle themed resort right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip.

Day 6: Las Vegas - Optional Grand Canyon (South Rim or West Rim Skywalk) - Las Vegas
*Grand Canyon South Rim 

The Grand Canyon offers one of the most spectacular examples of erosion not found anywhere in the world. Canyon National Park is a designated World Heritage Site and is unmatched in the incomparable vistas that it offers to visitors on the rim. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.


*Grand Canyon West Rim “The Skywalk”

Your journey begins from stopping by the magnificent Hoover Dam and then on to the Majestic Hualapai Indian Reservation where is located at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. You can walk along the rim of this great wonder of nature – unblemished by modern civilization. You may walk on the Skywalk (Optional tour). David Jin, the man who conceived and funded Skywalk makes this U-shaped platform, which extends 70ft over the edge and about 4,000 feet over the canyon floor. You may also select to take the Helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and view the majestic Grand Canyon with a bird’s eye view. (Optional tour)Overnight stay in Las Vegas.

Day 7: Las Vegas - Los Angeles
Transfer to the largest metropolitan area in California, Los Angeles. Stop by the historical landmarks of Hollywood, as well as Hollywood Blvd., Chinese Theater and the Dolby Theater complex (which is now the permanent home for the Oscars) and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.Overnight stay in Los Angeles.

Day 8: Optional: Disneyland OR San Diego city tour
From the mind of Walt Disney, enjoy a full day in Disneyland- a theme park suitable for all ages.

We will depart from the hotel and drive south along the Pacific Ocean heading to sunny San Diego, the second largest city in California. We will first stop by the U.S. Naval compound in San Diego harbor. Docked at Navy Pier is the USS Midway, the longest-serving aircraft carrier in U.S. Naval history from 1945 to 1997. After lunch, we will move on to another National Landmark, Balboa Park. Enjoy the luscious botanical gardens and Spanish architecture lining the long promenades. After, we will visit Old Town San Diego, where you will feel as if you stepped back in time as you walk among the classic Mexican Pueblos and shops offering many Latin American souvenirs and handicrafts. In the evening we will drive back to Los Angeles along the Golden Coast; if you are lucky you may catch

Driving through the vibrant Los Angeles Basin, you will visit Santa Monica, famous for sunshine, beach and vogue on the Pacific coast, where “Forrest Gump” and many other movies were filmed and where famous historical Route 66 ends. Continue to famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills known for haute couture fashion where world’s top luxury brand flagship stores conglomerate. Walking down the street paved with cobblestones appeared in the movie “pretty woman”, you might even come across Hollywood movie stars.Lunch will be at the famous farmer market, you will enjoy delicious food from around the world. After lunch, you will visit Griffith Observatory blended in ancient Greek and modern Art Deco style on top of Mount Hollywood. Since 1935 it has become another landmark in Los Angeles, attracting more than one million people a year. The mountain top offers spectacular views from Hollywood Sign to downtown LA. A short visit to the museum will definitely broaden your knowledge about our universe. Then move on to the birthplace of Los Angeles, Olvera Street, also known as little Mexico. It was first built by the Spanish in 1781 and later was center of Mexican community. Cultural heritage has turned the area into an exotic and vibrant site that no one should miss while in LA. Griffith observatory closes every Monday. We will stop by Walk of Fame instead.

Day 10: Los Angeles - Pyramid Lake -- The Outlets at Tejon Ranch - Bay Area
Upon departing Los Angeles, the first destination is the Pyramid Lake (except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Experience the most important co

mmodity in California; the abundant amount of water, cruising boats, and the mirror like reflection, will give you a refreshing view on the importance of water to the survival of life. Visit the museum to see records of the four great ancient floods and modern conservation of the lake. Then stop by the Outlets at Tejon Ranch to satisfy all your brand name shopping needs. Arrive in the Bay Area in the evening.

* Cancellations, Modifications, and Refunds: Cancellations, Modifications, and refunds requests MUST BE in writing and only take effect after the confirmation is received. The Refunds are calculated based on the following methods:
1) For Cancellations and Modifications received beyond 21 days prior to departure, 25% Cancellation/Modification fee per person + a Handling fee of $75.
2) For Cancellations and Modifications received beyond 10-20 days prior to departure, 50% Cancellation/Modification fee of total tour fare + a Handling fee of $100.
3) For Cancellations/Modifications received within 9 days to departure, no refunds and tour rearrangement.
4) If the 3rd or/and 4th persons fail to show up while 3 or 4 passengers sharing one room, those who are in the same room MUST pay $150.00 per person penalty on board the bus.

* Hotel rooms are typically designed and equipped for two travelers. They usually feature a queen- or king-sized bed or two double beds, which are meant to provide adequate comfort for two travelers.
* 3rd person, 4th person or child must share with the 1st & 2nd travelers in the same room (2 double beds). Extra beds, extra items and services (such as extra toiletries and towels) will not be provided.
